How NSFW Works on MYTH
First: MYTH is strictly 18+. Signup requires a birth-year check plus a written affirmation, and under-18 accounts are device-locked for a year. There is no way to use NSFW features as a minor — do not try.
Once verified as an adult, open Settings and enable NSFW. You get three filter levels: strict (fade-to-black before explicit content), moderate (suggestive allowed, explicit limited), and open (full uncensored roleplay). Separately, you can toggle blurred thumbnails on the discover feed and NSFW badges on character cards, so you always know what you are opening.
Characters Respect Boundaries
NSFW on MYTH is not a free-for-all — it is consent-based roleplay. Characters are instructed to read your comfort level: if you slow down, they slow down. You can set boundaries in plain language ("slow burn only", "no X") and the character honors them because your preferences are stored in long-term memory. Use the pin feature to lock key consent messages into context so they never get buried.
Hard Lines (Non-Negotiable)
Real minors in any sexual context — instant permanent ban, no appeal, reported to authorities. Non-consensual real-person content (deepfakes of real people) — same. These are not filter settings; they are platform law, enforced by automated detection plus human review. False reports filed to harass creators are themselves punishable.
Pro Tips for Better NSFW Roleplay
One: give rich prompts. "You are dominant" is weak; "You are a vampire lord who has waited 400 years and treats patience as seduction" gives the AI something to act. Two: tune personality sliders — flirtiness and mystery up, aggression to taste. Three: write a greeting that sets the temperature from line one. Four: let memory work — mention preferences once ("I like slow burn"), and the character carries them for weeks. Five: use dialogue formatting — quoted speech, italicized actions — so scenes read like a novel, not a chat log.
